JULIE ANSON

My path to surface pattern design began with a degree in Art and Psychology and a successful career as a graphic designer in the publishing industry. In my spare time I often played with mixed media art, printmaking, photography and sewing, and found myself increasingly drawn to repetition and pattern making.

Now I bring my love of energetic mark making, texture and vibrant colours to a growing portfolio of prints and pattern suitable for home decor, apparel, packaging and stationery for adults and children. It’s the energy and joy of the process of making - sketching, lino cuts, collage and even machine stitching - that I try to inject into my work.
