Four Corners Art Collective made our Surtex debut last year and we haven’t stopped working since! Now we’re coming back to reconnect with the clients we met last time and are looking forward to making lots more great connections.
The four collective members exhibiting in 2017 are Beth Schneider (Chicago, USA), Emma McGowan (Brighton, England), Jocelyn Proust (Coffs Harbour, Australia) and Pippa Shaw (Aix-en-Provence, France).
Between us, we will be exhibiting over 400 fresh, modern illustrations and repeat patterns including Christmas and seasonal designs, florals, characters and hand lettering for stationery and paper products, greetings, tabletop, editorial, home décor, wall art, gift, packaging, textiles, quilting and bolt fabric. So it will be well worth stopping by BOOTH #2723! Contact us today to make an appointment. See you there!
We are delighted to share with you that you will be able to buy fabrics with these gorgeous designs on them from your nearest Dashwood Studio stockist this Autumn. It has been one of Pippa's dreams to have a modern quilting fabric collection so you can imagine how happy she is that it is with Dashwood!
There are 8 fabrics in total in this collection which we hope will be the first of many with Dashwood Studio.
Pippa's original sketches and inspiration came from a holiday in the French Alps early last summer. Every afternoon there were huge thunderstorms, and she used the time to make a visual record of the landscapes and flowers that she had encountered during her daytime walks through the wildflower meadows and up to the icy peaks in the Vanoise region.
And today we were very excited to spot Pippa's designs in a feature on Print & Pattern blog about Dashwood Studio's upcoming and current designs. We're going to have fun thinking of all the great things we can make with these fabrics while we wait for them to hit the shops!
